When Neil Young asked us to switch to Tidal, I went along and loved that it paid the artists 10x more per stream.

But Tidal is American owned, spotify isn’t…

I’m struggling on this one, a lot of the lil punk bands I love could really use the revenue but, y’know, trade war etc.

Anyone have any thoughts to assuage a guilty conscience on this one?

Revanced YouTube will be your new best friend. Or revance music If you don’t prefer videos wasting your data.

In hindsight ReVanced is definitely what I should have recommended. Requires a little more initial setup but after that it’s painless.

Thanks for the update! I’ve cancelled my Tidal and have until the 17th to sort out my next option, be it Revanced Deezer or one of the other options all these lovely folks have suggested.

If you use YouTube at all I highly recommend looking into ReVanced no matter what you settle on for music streaming. If you have trouble setting it up let me know.

Even just a casual look into it and you are absolutely right! I’ll be trying to set it up sometime tomorrow I expect, thanks!
