    In America, it’s a descriptor that is applied to other countries … but not their own.

      Didn’t the president just use that descriptor to refer to America? It’s all over american political discourse, too. What you are on about.

        Thats a pretty recent development, and as such is why people had to look it up, which was the point of the comment.
