Oh sorry, I may have mistaken you for a different commenter then. Lemmy’s reply system isn’t super easy for me to navigate.

I think if a millionaire wants to rough it, camp, etc, they should be allowed to. Any adult should be allowed to roam. It’s what our ancestors did.

In the same way, the urban citizen produces and reproduces the city through their own daily actions. However, the the city is expropriated from the urbanite by the rich and the state. The right to the city is therefore the right to appropriate the city by and for those who make and remake it.
