Fucking good. Those hacks covered up Biden’s very relevant age-related issues that everyone could see, especially the swing voters, and tried to drive that vehicle into a brick wall to the detriment of the country. They should be blacklisted, too.

Smart. I wouldn’t touch Biden anything after his team hid his rapid decline.

ok first of all, i did not say this DID happen, i said this was how I personally (a nobody with no influence) (stated for the sake of making conversation with fellow nobodies) chose to envision something which had allegedly happened.
The things that WERE actually alleged,
I heard of from The Majority Report with Sam Seder.
THEY heard it from a Politico article.
Politico claims they cross-referenced the statements of 22 people who requested to remain anonymous to protect their positions from retaliation.

truth is, it would be equally as verifiable if the story were that a time traveling extraterrestrial cyborg wizard from the future teleported before joe and sent him on a spirit quest to be visited by the ghosts of past and future presidents who then proceeded to convince him to drop out but I would rather soothe my disdain and contempt for the democrat party (not to be confused with my abject hatred and revulsion for the republican party) by subscribing to the narrative that the people who fucked bernie out of two nominations by arguing in court that they had a right to rig their own primary elections FINALLY might not have gotten their way for once.

Glomzarb Σ68 of future-excephalon-3 brought tidings of horrific destruction the Terran Empire had been destined to one day wreak upon the good sophonts of the milky way galaxy and traced the sequence of events back to that very moment; and although xir original timeline is doomed, xhi can at least ensure there are SOME timelines where the rampant fascism of Sol was strangled in its cradle. Joe was unmoved until he saw how it would eventually harm the stock market.

You said you “heard” that it happened. And that “allegedly” Pelosi said some things.

Who did you hear it from and who is quoting Pelosi? That was all I was asking.

That you provided those sources makes it better. But making assumptions about things in order to fill in the banks muddies the water.

Especially when you position it as factual.

Fun fan fiction, but I think we need a paragraph on Bidens remorse, sitting in a dark room, looking at a picture of his late son lit by his screen as he mutters “enough of this malarkey. Let’s go” and shoots off those emails.

But alas, it’s probably a bit more benign than that, haha

honestly the moment i read what you wrote it INSTANTLY connected itself seamlessly into my headcanon and it’s all right there rendered beautifully in 4k with stirring melodramatic music.

Kamala Harris was the favorite to replace Biden by a fucking light year. She was poised to immediately take over his entire campaign apparatus and his money, which no other candidate could do. Pundits all around were speculating she’d get the nomination, and were widely reporting that Democratic politicians they spoke to also believed that. The only question was whether Biden would endorse her immediately or withhold an endorsement, and he chose to endorse her immediately. I just don’t buy anything of what you’re saying here.

even a single day before he dropped out and endorsed her, it was up in the air.

people i know in-person who didn’t see both tweets, when i told them, first immediately reacted with “oh no, now what, they might not endorse kamala, oh god what if they try to give us RFK or something” until i could actually SHOW them that Biden endorsed her. And even then, they were hesitant to believe it.

It’s always easier to say “this was inevitable” after it’s already happened.

that’s the fun part: she is likeable!

Furthermore, the way shit has unfolded has left me considerably more entertained than i had been prior to july 21st, so my fanfictionalizing on events that cannot be confirmed is just icing and a cherry on top for myself and most of my friends who also were marveled to watch history turn on a DIME and zoom off in a much happier and completely unexpected direction.

If you thought I was looking a gift horse in the mouth, I can understand why I might’ve accidentally come across that way, but honestly I haven’t been this happy about politics in years. I just happen to also enjoy having a little extra fun with it on the side. My support for kamala is real. REAL SILLY, but also actually real too.

because after being made the butt of a bad joke for the past nearly-a-decade, america needs a good laugh right now.

The “top Democrats” being discussed in that article as considering an open primary were keenly aware how all of them coming out in lockstep in support of handing the nomination to Harris had the potential to backfire as “king-making” as far as the public was concerned. There’s an explicit quote from Pelosi’s staff about this in there.

This article you posted is about whether Harris would get the nomination and doesn’t name a single other potential candidate, proving my point. What I don’t see in here is anything at all resembling the fictional drama you created above

someone else who asked first got my somewhat salty reply first.

Long story short, Sam Seder got it from Politico who got it from 22 anonymous sources,

And like “The Room Where It Happens” from Hamilton, we can either throw up our hands, say nobody’s willing to go on the record, so nobody will ever know… or see the results, and entertain ourselves as long as we’re mindful that it’s entertainment and not fact.

The only thing that’s factual is that Politico SAYS people talked to them.

      I believe it.

I think Harris is as good a candidate as any Democrat, but Biden always treated her like a work experience student. Because he’s an old racist.

I don’t think Biden has a particular issue with Harris being qualified. He did endorse her within hours of bowing out, after all, and in so doing, cut off everybody who was salivating at the idea of challenging her for the nomination at the knees.

Well seeing as a mod removed the comment and also I was being a gremlin about it, don’t actually believe it “for real”–shit is stressful, we need to blow off steam sometimes, it’s okay to mindfully indulge in a little personal amusement from time to time, but it has to be mindful and I didn’t state it mindfully enough.

If spite motivates me to do the right thing (defeat trump, kill the Republican party’s organization and viability for the future, force the Democrat party to split to fill the void, repeat while continuously purging chuds from their positions of office while promoting progressives and socialists) then I will embrace spite. But even then, I have to keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn’t change the actual goal.

Furthermore, if you can find a motivation better for you than spite, it’s highly advisable. The difference between poison and medicine is both the dosage and whether the disease it’s killing is worse. Make no mistake, I’m pretty fucking diseased >_> but I refuse to stop existing just for the sake of others’ comfort.

        Be better than me
(The bar isn’t very high XD)
