While I appreciate the sentiment behind the law - I’ve had problems myself with a writing teacher that didn’t particularly like my essay on agricultural legislation from my perspective as the son of a ranch family, while she was a fairly outspoken vegetarian - realistically I know this only exists just so that nazis can have further outlets to spout various nazi things within higher education and not get marked down for it.
This sounds like a pretty dead bill, just barely making it over the finish line (To what’s basically a party line vote).
I don’t know what change they could make to peel off even a single Dem, much less overcome the governor’s veto.
So they’ll increase state funding to schools to finance the extra overhead that it’ll cause right? right?
