That’s a recipe for defeat. You always have to respect the order of operations. Stand up as a voting block. Prove your value to the major parties. Then use that leverage to push them to agree to a national ranked choice voting pact. Then vote for whoever you like to end the MIC.
A lot of people don’t get it. They just see them not getting what they want now so they get mad and sit at home. Meanwhile the right lines up, holds their noses, and pushes us further towards theocracy.
Yes, it’s a wishful childish way of thinking that only helps the worst possible people. I absolutely understand the sentiment behind it. Being that both of our parties are right-wing and not helpful to most people. And beholden to all the wrong groups.
Having to think about things in a mature strategic fashion can be a lot of work. And definitely not enticing given many of our choices. Unfortunately, however things can always get worse. When we refuse to engage with the system we have fantasizing over a system we don’t.
Biden could come out and say he won’t block the rail strike again if he’s elected and that it was a mistake for him to do so.
But he won’t say that because he plans on blocking it again. So this isn’t a case of not getting what we want now. Biden won’t deliver what we want in the future either. So get your procorporate trash candidate elected without my vote.
Buddy, HRC lost in 2016 and you all thought the best way to recover from that was to run another procorporate establishment candidate. You can think whatever you want about us.
I’ll vote like I do in every primary and general election. Just not for Trump or Biden. Maybe after the election you can math long and hard enough to figure out Biden fucked over the people he was depending on to get elected.
3rd party 2024 and end the MIC

Like I said, sit at home while the right shows up to vote for “their team” I’m sure that’ll pay off handsomely.

Lots of assumptions in that comment. Have fun sitting at home and complaining online.
