Is it a dumb thing for dumb people? Maybe. You would think the extra fat would just cook off and it wouldn’t go very far vs uncooked weight. I wouldn’t buy one but I wouldn’t want that meat to go to waste either.

If the price difference was like between wagyu steak and normal, I’d never even consider it.
