6 million people who voted for Biden did not for Kamala, and there is a large measurable shift in favor of Trump among Gen Z compared to the trend of previous generations moving left.

        Among MALES, not among females.

There was an article, perhaps the FT, which showed drastic divergance between the 2 populations of the same age.

        https://theconversation.com/women-used-to-be-more-likely-to-vote-conservative-than-men-but-that-all-changed-in-2017-we-wanted-to-find-out-why-214019

shows a HARD left-swing for women, XOR a HARD right-swing for men, in the UK, ( both would look the same, on that chart ) only-recently.

That trend, though, is global, male-supremacism hand-in-hand with the upswing of male fascism/authoritarianism.

        Males generally back male-supremacy.

        Females generally do not.

“journalism” nowadays works hard to NOT show the correct granularity-of-view, showing what’s actually going on: the oversimplifications & dumbing-down are too beloved of the establishment.

A majority of male youth voted for Trump but EVEN AMONG FEMALES there was a large shift to the right.

In 2020 Biden had a 36 point lead in young women over Trump, while Harris only had a 24 point lead. Thats a huge shift.

When people spend 14 hours a day on their phones exclusively on one of a handful of social platforms it becomes trivial to mass manipulate the population. Almost as if… It was by design.

It lends itself particularly well to a two-party system. I mean a two-party system is basically a one-party system with an extra step. Right or Left, Black or White, Up or Down, This Thing or That Thing. Very easy to pit people against each other. Candidate A wants lower taxes and reinstitute slavery. Candidate B wants higher taxes and blanket death penalty for all crimes. Which side are YOU on?

I cannot believe how broken the American political system is, and I do not see it surviving, it is going to just slowly crumble like Rome did, only faster. It just can’t survive, it is fundamentally flawed and is incapable of scaling over time, it’s like a perpetually growing Jenga tower that also constantly has load bearing pieces plucked out of it.

I’m genuinely surprised it is actually still standing, I thought it would be over by now, like when the needle has been firmly stuck on red for twenty minutes and your car just inexplicably keeps going on fumes, like, how can this fucker still be going?!

She was ruthlessly & systematically sabotaged by the Biden establishment, by male-supremacists, AND by white-supremacists.

& the left felt it ought coast on its victorious-feelings, which … handed leverage to their opponents…

She never had a fair chance.

You may be right, I can’t say. I didn’t pay much attention to the campaign, because my vote was decided as soon as Trump got the nomination.

My vote was 99% decided before that. I’ve seen one GOP candidate that I was open to the possibility of voting for, but he didn’t win the nomination, and since Obama was our candidate that year, it wouldn’t have mattered if he did.

It absolutely is true that she backed Netanyahu, & that cost her significant support.

I don’t know why, but she did.

Losing the country, however, because of that … doesn’t help the Palestinians.

NEITHER candidate was good for them!!

Trump’s Gaza converted into a resort … isn’t good for them, either!

Maybe, possibly, she could have been got to see the light, on that issue: I don’t know.

The genocide in the US is going to make Gaza’s genocide look … like a civilized sunday picnic.

Trump’s nearly there, all he needs now is the Insurrection Act, & then he can activate his de-naturalization law, to remove citizenship from all the Democrats, & then they all get ICE’d.

Netanyahu’s war against the lives of Palestinians is going to be tiddlywinks, compared with Trump’s war against the hated “woke”, within the US.

Not tens-of-thousands, but millions, will die, in that, soon-enough.

I don’t know why, but she did.

        AIPAC funding.

That’s the answer. It’s not complicated.

The Democratic leadership always does whatever the mega donors want, regardless of what that will end up doing at the polls, or to the country.

More likely that Israel is the USA’s longest and most reliable foothold into the Middle East which is an important ground to repel eastern expansionism from Russia and China in an infinite proxy war. Nobody with half a brain would chose to lose voters for a paltry sum of campaign funds which may or may not attract comparably few voters, the math just doesn’t pan out.

            paltry sum of campaign funds

You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.

AIPAC was one of the largest outside donors in the 2024 elections, spending $100 million in 389 congressional races (26 in the Senate, 363 in the House). 318 Zionist candidates who received money from AIPAC were elected that year.

              The Harris Campaign spent $1,176,074,620.47

The total spending on all campaigns in 2024 was over 21 Billion Dollars.

How many votes do you think $100M in advertisements is going to earn? That’s hardly enough money to put an ad in the face of 1 of 3 people in the USA one time.

She should have launched on fediverse instead of Twitter, then she couldn’t be censored because she would own the platform.

Good on Dems for organizing a grassroots resistance. We need more people on the ground, we need a force greater than one hundred millions strong.
