We need to stop spending time explaining why they are lieing, and just say, “we all know they are lieing”. Their lies don’t even pass the snicker test.

Dunno how i feel about this yeh, well your mother was a drug addict, and it was her own fault reply guy, especially cause his account is using a very outwardly racist celebrity’s name as a handle

we’re suddenly all opposed to… stealing from work? yeh you can call it a hospital, but it’s also a private employer a lot of the time, especially in USA

and anyway, replying to a nazi on twitter isn’t accompishing anything aside from driving clicks on twitter

    weird all the way down

Wasn’t the detail of him having internal bleeding from an anonymous tip that was called in?

Thought I saw something about that…

Didn’t Trump say the day of the incident that Ross was “happily home with his family”?

If he had internal bleeding, wouldn’t he be, I don’t know, at the hospital?

Every person I’ve seen claiming be a doctor has said this exact thing. There’s no way you going home same day with what they’re trying to say his injuries were.

Saw an analysis of new vid angle last night… the thug wasn’t even in the path as he set up to shoot. Legs a few feet away from the vehicle. The ‘bang’ in his own phone vid was just the phone and possibly his hand thumping on the hood. outstretched from the side.

She never turned wheels towards him.

From the few MAGAts still in my orbit at work, the only thing I can say is that you have several generations of individuals in the U.S. who breathed in lead regularly during their most important formative years.

The people who still vote for Trump are hateful. They are angry at everyone who doesn’t jump into the same cookie cutter mold that they were forced to and they hate them for it. It doesn’t matter if you’re gay, trans, or simply an ally/not a bigot. They hate you for not being forced to live the way they live. They hate you for showing them that they’re wrong, or more accurately that things might have been different for them.

It is entirely selfish. They are the darkest parts of humanity given form.

To add to this, it’s sunken cost fallacy at its strongest. They’re not just letting go of feeling angry. They’re letting go of their entire identity. Their identity IS hatred and suppression so to admit this is wrong is to admit every motive, decision and belief in their life up to this point is also wrong. People don’t want to believe they could have made that change years or even decades ago because the only one stopping them was themselves.

This is also why no argument or discussion thats contrary to their beliefs go anywhere. Their beliefs are their personality so they take it as a personal attack on them and immediately become defensive and shutdown.

I know plenty of Millennial and Gen Z Trump supporters. Don’t blame this on lead poisoning because the problem isn’t miraculously dying with the Boomers.

Can’t say for americans, but there in Russia the situation is presented differently than there on Lemmy. Talking points against the narrative are simply absent, unless they get ‘rebunked’ by some talking head, hence how Renee shooting even came into this discourse. For local news, it’s the repurposing of talking points previously used for Europe as being overtaken by foreign savages, but, in contrast, there Trumpie and his kin are fighting it as well as they can. No mention of local communities, of violations, but the same talks of tsunami of violence like previously with George Floyd protests started by drugged-up leftwing transgender immigrant maniacs. You know the tone.

I feel like the Fox News bubble is not very far from that. And it’s going on like that since, at least, the Donner’s first campaign. The decade of brainwashing is so influential it even took a couple of my friends, who are not fans of local admin and watch international news instead of what’s handfed to them, to start to admire the ways of p2025, Dump and european far right, and almost circle back to admire Vladimir, and they are like second-hand smokers at best, not primary enducers of american smoke&mirrors TV extravaganza.

I work with mostly elderly people, visiting them in their homes, some in facilities. The number of them that watch and never question Fox “news” is disturbing.

When you believe you’re not supposed to question authority, life is easier? I guess 🫤.

There is nowhere in the video where it shows anything hitting his torso. Again this guy watched the video. Vance knows he’s lying.

this case, it turns out ramming a law enforcement officer with a car causes injuries

I wish his lies kept him up at night. That he can so unabashedly hurt so many people for his own gain is a trait that needs to be expunged from society. I can’t even make someone mildly uncomfortable without reassessing my approach to people in general. I believe, personally, that people do not have souls. But I know Vance doesn’t have one.

Technically, a bruise is internal bleeding…. So he’s blaming the slight tenderness in his itchy trigger finger from squeezing too hard on someone driving right by him? Seems right for a scared, pussy Nazi like him. What a bunch of babies.

Assuming they’re not just talking about a bruise… How do we even know the damage was from this event?

This is the same chuckle fuck that held onto the fucking car back in June last year and forced himself to be dragged to try and justify his bullshit.

This fucking idiot might have just fallen down the stairs at home given his lack of mental capacity.

I think it was proven he was released from hospital in 8 hours or so. Actual internal bleeding indicates 24-48 hours of hospitalization.

It’s a bruise. A bruise is technically internal bleeding, but “internal bleeding” sounds scarier than “he got a little bruise”
