    ”Akshually” Hitler wasn’t elected, he was appointed by the president who was pressured by industry magnates, the tech billionaire parallel of that time. That isn’t to say he didn’t have support, he barely lost the election, but he wasn’t actually elected to lead the nation.

    The US is one Reichstags fire away from going down the same road.

      Very similar to Trump gettinginto power too. He didn’t win by a majority of the popular vote last election (only had a plurality), and he lost the popular vote the first go.

        Not to mention, right wingers have been caught over and over again doing everything they can to tamper with elections for atleast the past decade, the US electoral system is specifically designed to suppress voting, and various other governments have been actively spreading propaganda and otherwise meddling in US elections.

        Nothing about the current regime reflects the values or desires of the typical US denizen.
