This is all performative. I think AOC has already been promised Chuck’s seat without a primary challenger in 2028, and she’s gonna take it.

She knows that if she ran for President in 2028, she would’t stand a chance, because she lacks a key thing that Gavin has – a penis. Look at the last few elections, and you will see that whenever the Democrats ran someone with that key asset for President, they won! The last penis-haver who lost was John Kerry, and he had his own issues.

No, all of America isn’t a misogynist hellhole. But there are enough people out there who will come up with any excuse to not vote for a woman to make a difference. (My favorite from the last election was the guy who didn’t vote for Harris because she reminded him too much of his ex-wife.)

AOC will run for Senate and win, and serve there for a term or three. Maybe by then, we’ll be ready for a female President.

Two years of Schummer’s seat and she can run for President. Just like how Obama did.

I just don’t understand why she is against Hakeem Jeffries being primaried.

Would love to see the dems have the guts to put her in the VP position at some point.

Sure, but she appears to be an effective enough politician that making her VP is a bit of a waste. All the VP does is settle fights in the Senate and wait for the President to die.

Americans are currently still too misogynist to elect a female president. I’m sure she would do a great job, but it’s safer to slot her into the VP slot for now.

Safest to have her take Chuck’s Senate seat. But I am acting a bit selfish here: as a New York State resident, I don’t want to give her up yet.
