          Julian Assange is infamous for being selective regarding the info he chooses to release or comment upon. I don’t really care what he has to say.

          It was given to her for her activism against Maduro and due to the persecution she faced for that.

          The prize is given for a specific reason. It always has been. Now you’re trying to make up bullshit about how it’s supposed to either 1.) predict the future or 2.) indicate that the person has otherwise always made the right call.

          Should Nelson Mandela also not have received it because he engaged in sabotage?

          Andrei Sakharov was a dedicated Soviet scientist who turned dissident. Should he have been disqualified for his Soviet past?

          Your dishonest bullshit can’t obscure the history of the prize and what it has always been awarded for.
