I have finished watching Star Trek Next Generation and Deep Space 9 following a friend’s recommendation. I enjoyed both shows and started watching the other one, Star Trek Voyager.

So far, I’m not finding it as enjoyable as the other two. I want to try to see it through the eyes of someone who enjoys the show, maybe it will also help me understand why it feels different somehow.

    Of those three I prefer voyager to ds9. And for rewatching, I think it’s the most rewatchable. Though maybe you are early on in season 1 and maybe it doesn’t pick up until season 2 or later in s1.

    It feels a lot more like TNG than it does like ds9.

    And if you make it to the final seasons, the writers really get creative and have a lot of fun with many of the episodes.

    I really hope you can get into it, I really think it’s worth it.
