My opinion is anyone called a “pastor” is already 95% insane. So this should not be a surprise.

Reminder that conservative people simply do not live in an introspective reality with an evidence based foundation the way you and I do. They are rarely ever shown what we see plainly, in fact they are carefully groomed by predators like this pastor to reject it, to their own detriment, often down to even the hard dictionary definition of words. The meaning of anything relevant is simply revised as necessary for them on the fly. Many of them are otherwise skilled intelligent people but when reality comes knocking, or they’re predictably thrown under the bus the minute they cease to be useful, they are shocked that “no one warned them” after they malign anyone who did. It is difficult to ponder at times.
