I have watched these short series on repeat over the last year
1670
The Decameron
Derry Girls
One Hundred Years of Solitude
Norsemen
Beef
The 7Lives of Lea
Project UFO
Most of these are comedies, and I’ve had to rewatch because they are so good. My favorite is 1670. Second place is a tie with Project UFO, The Decameron, and Derry Girls
Every decision feels like it was the right one when it came to this production.
Honestly, got a bit fixated, I’ve watched 1670 five or six times since the second season dropped early last fall. I notice something new each time. I even had a joke from the series appear in a dream, I’ve not ever dreamt about a TV series before. Magnificent cast, direction, the music, the costumes… Bravo
For note to anyone who might watch it, it’s very much so dead pan humor, it does not take itself too seriously while still being captivating with a story of depth. If you are not familiar with Polish history, you may find yourself looking it up. However, even if you don’t, you will find this production (my goodness is it so much more than a TV series) very funny and witty. If you like any theater, give it a go.

1670 is great! Not only funny, but also very well directed.
