I guess I’m building an AR pistol. It will technically be my SUV gun. Also, I’m impressed by the speed of NAS3 out of short barrels (starts at the 6 minute mark) I hate living in interesting times.

A used p320 for $300 and a flux frame for $400 is a lot more practical and stowable than an AR pistol.

Obviously it’s still a pistol round, but it’s barely bigger than a pistol with a longer barrel than an mp5.

But honestly, it’s never safe to leave a firearm in a vehicle, even if just for a minute, even if it’s in a locked compartment inside a locked vehicle.

Like, the only exception is if you own a ranch or something and the vehicle stays on your property, but there’s dangerous wildlife.

I agree with this sentiment. It’s all too easy for someone to break a window looking for literally anything to walk off with a new firearm. This is why my “car gun” is only what will fit in a backpack or messenger bag, and that bag does not stay in the car without me.

Yeah, it’s good to take a reality check every once and a while.

The chances of anyone needing to use any gun are practically zero, even with shit as crazy as it is.

A “bag gun” or truck gun is really only something you’d need if society has broken down to the point you being attacked for who you are or what you have is likely, but openly carrying a rifle would just make you a target for that rifle. Which is a very narrow window as fast as things collapse historically. Like, you could argue it’s a way to defend against a mass shooter at a protest, but a handful of people openly carrying rifles would likely prevent it from even happening in the first place because that’s also a visible deterrent.

Like, shits cool, and shooting guns is literally addicting. But a truck/bag gun is an idea you start using to justify purchases once you already have a solid rifle, CCW, plate carrier, and full size pistol.

Nothing wrong with it, but reality checks are important, especially when people get too used to it and just leave guns laying around like Easter Eggs for anyone to find.

.45 and 10mm should be getting officially announced in the next couple months…

Their first product line had separate braces and “mag carriers”, and I only got the 45/10mm “mag carrier” and not the brace, but you can get knockoffs from Temu that are pretty functional apparently.

        They’re amazing tho

There is a p365 version too that one of the founders uses as EDC CCW, but the red dot reciprocates still because it’s on the slide. Which is the worst part of my 10mm old version.

I won’t go into detail, but just…think about the logical course of events that would take place should you decide to use that weapon in the way that is implied. Even if you survive, your life would be over in that very moment, and you need to be physically and mentally prepared for that, or you need to perish the thought.
