Footage has appeared of the destroyed hospital in Kupiansk, where abandoned Russian servicemen were taking cover. Earlier, the Kremlin’s SHOT claimed that AFU “mercenaries” were based there.
Drone footage has appeared on TG channels showing the destroyed central hospital in Kupiansk. On 4 January, the Kremlin’s SHOT reported an “airstrike” that the AFU allegedly launched against its own “military and mercenaries” taking cover there. After this, a number of Z-channels caught the propagandists in a lie, writing that surrounded Russian servicemen actually remained in the hospital. “The hospital was ours. The enemy was indeed dismantling it all last week. Only the enemy was working against our guys. Who were simply abandoned there,” wrote Z-blogger Romanov.
The first video is allegedly filmed from a Russian drone, the second — from a Ukrainian one.
“Our stormtroopers are melting snow due to a lack of water while under enemy shelling in Kupiansk. Presumably, our Warriors are semi-encircled and holding positions in the city hospital,” wrote the channel “Z.O.V Shkipera.”
Some Z-authors compared the situation in which the Russian military found themselves even to the Battle of Stalingrad. “A detachment in the Kupiansk city hospital, either semi-encircled or tightly surrounded, which has been holding out there for weeks like in Stalingrad. And what will happen to it is more important than all the Maduros,” believes Yevgeny Norin.
The first to draw attention to the SHOT publication was Z-blogger Romanov.
“The question is whether those who managed to receive awards for reports that do not correspond to reality will pull the guys out…” he wrote.
