It’s not really a valid criticism of something as broad as “leftists”. If you think all leftists are annoying because of twitter warriors, you should also think all conservatives are awful, hateful, evil people because of neo-nazis, KKK, and similarly aligned hate groups.
I know you’re not necessarily saying yourself (I’m using the royal “you”), but my point is… the people that “hate leftists” based on stuff like this are kinda just too stupid. The general public is too stupid. We need better education. Unfortunately, only the left wants that, and nobody will listen, because the general public is too stupid.
It’s a catch-22, but ultimately, the blame does not lie with the leftists. It lies with the general public.
