Work isn’t the problem, it’s surplus value extraction that is where you exploit your workers. You aren’t engaging them in an equal playing field, but instead rely on the fact that they need a job to feed themselves to get them to create surplus value for your own consumption. Self-employment is rarely a valid path either.

Why aren’t you an employee? Because you gain more by being an employer, and have the privledge to be one.
