The Untied States is literally becoming like nazi Germany and I don’t know if people understand that I’m not exaggerating. I legitimately can’t tell if people realize that America is now a fascist dictatorship, likely to soon go full on nazi Germany and make it explicitly illegal to be part of certain minority groups, at which point it may be too late for people to leave. I don’t know if people around me understand that that’s not an exaggeration.

People just keep on going to Disneyland as if it’s perfectly safe. It’s like watching people go to a store that’s literally on fire and nobody is even trying to put it out. It’s like people think if the fire department isn’t reacting then it isn’t happening

and my grandmother thinks it’s funny to tell me canada is going to be the 51st state. Yes, so hilarious the fire might soon consume our house too

    As I explained, I’m stressed out by my fellow countrymen ignoring the dangers and traveling to the Untied States, where Canadian tourists are getting detained.

    And you’re extremely ignorant to think its only illegal immigrants who are in danger.

      there is no danger. if you think Trump is going to take over Canada… i worry for your mental health.

      Trump does nothing but posture. he’s a blowhard and most everything he does is fake and false and poorly executed.

      but the media/social media lives by the outrage his comments cause, and so does he. you are just feeding the beast, so to speak.

      some people are getting the book thrown at them. it sucks. it’s not magically different than when biden was president either, he just throw the book at different types of people.

        I didn’t say I thought he would take over Canada. I said I’m annoyed that my grandmother thinks it’s funny to tell me he will and that I’m stressed by people willingly travelling to the states where I believe they could be in danger as non-americans visiting the states. Perhaps you’re confused that I care what happens to other people besides myself.

        I do think Canada needs to take the threat seriously

          why are you so stressed about what other people are doing? are you traveling to america? no, how is it relevant than?

          What do you propose Canada do exactly? Ban all travel to the USA for the sake of a subgroup of citizens that may have difficulty doing so?

            I’m not suggesting the government do anything. I’m suggesting Canadians stop traveling to the Untied States. Many of whom have.

              your second however… do you realize that like the vermont national guard could take over your country? The canadian military is decades out of date in terms of equipment and training. I agree with you though that your government desperately needs to upgrade and increase it’s military spending, especially as it’s likely Russian will try to steal your arctic claims in the next 20-30 years.
