I did quite a bit of app dating at one point and I’m basically average (5’11) or slightly above for a guy in the US. I was honest about my height in profiles and listed exactly how tall I am when measured at a physical exam with my shoes off. Mostly, women didn’t care. However, there were several times when I went on a date and the girl said some variation of “it’s nice you didn’t exaggerate your height, a lot of guys do.”

I think out of hundreds of matches I’ve had like one person ask about my height. I’m pretty average, height-wise (under 6’)
