I’m not in retail anymore. I escaped the Christmas music years ago. Then a coworker moved into my department… He CHOOSES to listen to Christmas music with his bluetooth speakers non-stop…
I hope Santa brings him e-coli.
All I want for Christmas is
yousudden hearing loss.
One advantage of being as old as I am, I stopped working retail just before the Mariah Carey song went from a cute single that got played once in a great while to a Geneva Convention violation.
One radio station in my area made it a yearly occurrence to play Last Christmas from Wham! for an entire hour somewhere before christmas. I don’t know if they still do it, but I found it funny as hell. They made a huge spectacle each time before playing it, announcing the latest, greatest song!
Adulthood: Christmas this year again? In this economy???
Not me, I learned from Elmo what happens if everyday is Christmas.
Yesterday was my first time hearing Mariah Carey, it was a good run while it lasted. God speed those that have still avoided it.

The build up is too long. But I yearn for cozy evenings spent with close friends/family eating good food, playing games etc. etc…
There’s just one good Christmas song, and it has low replayability.
