The past two years orders have spread over Rheinmetall’s cost intense Lynx (Hungray, Italy), some GDELS Ascod variants and different CV90 variants (Baltics, Scandinavian countries). France is still using its custom made War Baguette (VBCI), just like Germany is rocking the Puma and Poland the Borsuk.
Orders are determined by budget and also by availability. The Ascod won a tender (Latvia) just because of the CV90 backlog being too full. Meaning: the European market is still pretty mixed with bigger countries going with custom solutions.
And yes: in my opinion the CV90 is the best bang for the buck and the more users the better. Its reputation is unchallenged.
Edit: You might also want to take a look at wheeled IFVs (like the VBCI) and European mass orders of Boxer based platforms as medium forces.
Meanwhile in UK, we’re going for the Archer, a vehicle which is actively trying to kill its own crew.
