I don’t mind them, but I’m not a fan. It always ends up kinda formulaic, either we go to the full time with no falls and gotta do a surprise sudden death, or they have a dozen falls which dont matter before the match finish. Both kinda suck.
The only Iron Man match that I would ever call “great” was Chris Brooks vs Lulu Pencil. But on its own, it’s terrible, you need to have seen the build to it to understand what made it truly great.
I’ll also give a pass for HBK vs Hart as it was the first one most of us probably ever saw, when it was still a novel idea and we weren’t tired of it yet.
That AND it takes forever. Nothing good in that
