What ?.anyone with more.knowledge on this? are we being gas lit ?
That doesn’t sound very “far-right”.
“… but not for gays, poors, or women! Its just so we can legally cheat on our wives.”
The far right would never do this. It’s surely a feint, or a distraction, or possibly they’ve found a way to do this in a way that is actually horrible. If none of that turns out to be true I’ll admit to some confusion.
yeah its like trump floated decriminalizing marijuana but instead he is making a new war on drugs and this time literally war. not a euphemism.
Maybe drugs needs to step up it’s game
My guess is “lying about worker ownership and they just want to do Epstein shit”
Well yeah I heard there was a vacancy.
Yup, they’ll ne the first to vote no on it
My French is not so good, but all Americans are fluent in Bullshit.
lol Right, that’s why all of you voted against the bullshit that is Trump.
Yeah that’s the trouble, turns out you can bullshit a bullshitter. Fuck em anyway, I left.
Dare I say… based? Broken clock right twice a day etc etc. Or maybe in France sex is apolitical.
I’m gonna assume they would reopen them then NOT put the workers in charge
Nobody wants to have sex with the fascists, so they make a concession that allows them to get some (for money)
Sounds like the sort of thing they’ll propose and put to a vote…
Only to all vote no on it, then gaslight their audience that they defeated yet another left-wing agenda
The article quotes a lady from a “sex worker support group” that turns out to be a SWERF organization:
L’Amicale du Nid firmly supports the belief that prostitution is intrinsically incompatible with human dignity and equality between men and women; the human body cannot be construed as an object or piece of merchandise. It refuses to liken it to a profession and wishes to build its action along consistent abolitionist lines, advocating for the ban of any form of sexual intercourse for payment
It goes on about non-penalisation of sex workers but last I checked, a total ban wasn’t what actual sex workers wanted.
I don’t know, this just might be a broken-clock kind of thing. Probably for the worst possible reasons, though, if I had to guess.
This sounds like something the far left & far right will agree on. They’ll say, how empowering.
Doubt. This would actually be a good thing.
What the actual hell… Based?
Heck yeah, so long as there’s mandatory std testing I see this as a win win situation.
🤨…
