Thankfully the US got there first, so we can all see where the conservatives around the world are headed.

I really wish that it would realistically serve as an international warning, but I’d be surprised if the scourge of weaponizing atomized worldviews and the attention-span erosion hasn’t seeped into every corner of the developed world. Corporations are the engine that drive this trend of fear mongering and authoritarian rule, and even if we see a bit of pushback here and there, they don’t recognize borders and see every nation as a ripe field to reap and have more patience and resources than any progressive group.
