Everyday folks are rising up to resist immigration raids with whistles, car chases, and noisy protests. Revolution is in the air.

Winning through delegitimizing the other side to keep soldiers from being willing to fight is the only practical way to win under these conditions
Well there are two approaches. First you try peace frog. If that doesn’t work, you use other means.
Peace frog doesn’t work. Now what? Peace pigeon? When can we start shooting?
You can start now if you want. It’s not going to end well for you until there’s a critical mass doing it with you.
I guess if everyone waits for critical mass…
Can’t have a critical mass, when everyone is doom scrolling through the Lemmy and Reddit.
Yeah… I’m not saying I have a better answer or a solution.
Nah man we only need 3.5% of peaceful protest. Let’s ignore the fact the people who made the observation said it doesn’t always work and that as time goes on that that number is less relevant.
So yeah when is the next No Kings™️ rally? Gotta get my protest shirt from Amazon.
I think we need to see what happens during some upcoming elections. If the US becomes irreversibly pedophile, you might get your wish. It’s good to stock up now though on guitars and other machines that kill pedophiles.
Bold of you to assume there will be elections in the future.
lol right?
Sweetie, when it comes down to it, fucking children isn’t high on the ‘bad list’ for the majority of humans. They just don’t want to be shamed for doing it or for not having much of an opinion on it.
… this is why they get elected and not charged despite clear evidence.
I think you’re not getting me. We need to creative in how we refer to bad people to avoid falling into boxes created by our enemy, which they then use to create lists.
You also don’t have to try to be more aware of our current dire state than me. I get it. What is the best way forward is the question. I’m not on board with a strategy of resorting to violence when there is a chance to solve it without first. That’s not to say we may not need a revolution. The trouble with that is once you start breaking things, it’s hard to put them together again.
