Exactly. The government can fuck anyone over and there’s nothing the citizens can do because there’s no jury nullification to hold the government in check for unreasonable laws.
and even reasonable laws once jury is out you are now dependent on a sole judge being fair. I mean look at some of the recent supreme court rulings in the us and that is a group of judges. When it comes to judicial decisions the law is more like suggestions.
Ah yes, the best way to remove the backlog is to get rid of having the community of peers decide. No other way.
