My brain just went “What do you mean I was 12 in 2014, I had graduated high school awhile ago” then sighed.
Right? In 2014 I was dropping out of my first college due to mental health issues.
I would then start another in 2017
How are people so young.

Man I can’t get over that part.
But I was bullying people with long pronoun lists if I’m being honest. In 2015 it was Hamilton OCs I was bullying.
I wanted to make it young enough that the OC would be obviously terrible but recent enough that thinking about what was popular at the time wouldnt involve too much research.
Hmmmm… when I was 12… Nixon resigned, Lucy and the Terracotta Warriors were unearthed (in Ethiopia and China respectively but it sounds like a band this way) Ali KO’d Foreman and Aaron outhit Ruth, my dad hated driving 55, my mood ring was always black… No Chinatown or Godfather for me, but I was allowed to see Blazing Saddles! Oh and I heard some of the older teens talk about a new game called D&D that was supposedly getting kids into drugs…
They were wrong. D&D IS the drug.

We had a local computer repair place called Coyote Computers who set up 5 gaming PCs and charged me and my friends a dollar an hour under the table to play the original CoD or HL2 mods after school. Good times.
The local computer repair shop was a little slice of heaven in our rural town. That sounds amazing.
