J.D. Vance’s lead in the polls could be collapsing because of his association with Trump, according to an expert

J.D. Vance’s chances of becoming the GOP nominee for president in 2028 have taken a dive, according to a new poll.

The survey looking at potential successors to Donald Trump has seen the vice-president’s lead in a list of theoretical candidates narrow significantly in recent months.

And in the most recent poll in November, the Vance’s margin continued to fall. According to the survey of 439 voters conducted between November 17 and 24, Vance’s lead over Trump Jr had plummeted to just 10 points. The latest results put Vance at 34% and Trump Jr at 24%.

Trump’s polling figures have collapsed in recent months, with every major poll giving Trump a negative rating for the first time ever.

Even a Fox News poll suggested that 61% of respondents think that Trump’s administration has damaged the economy, with just 3% approving of his economic strategy.

I’m disagreeing because people eat Turkey all of the time. Most people don’t do a whole bird bc it’s too much. But pound for pound, that’s a lot of protein for the price so it’s better than beef, chicken, etc.

Also, someone has to make a whole Turkey so people can put that shit on sandwiches every day.

Also, I just think your disrespect for dark meat is unforgivable.

Yeah, I mean I eat turkey for protein too, but you don’t have to cook a whole ass 25 pound bird to eat turkey. You can buy turkey breasts, turkey legs, etc., but mostly people prefer other meats — specifically chicken, as far as fowl goes.

But Vance was saying (and I agree) that people don’t cook it as regularly as they do chicken, or burgers, or even, say, pork chops, because they don’t love it as much as they pretend to on Thanksgiving. Politics entirely aside, speaking only on the food, I think he’s right.

Nope That’s not at all what he was saying, you’re trying to move the goalposts now. I looked it up and here is the quote of what he said:

“Think about turkey. Who really likes … be honest with yourself, who really likes turkey?” Vance told troops on Wednesday during remarks from Fort Campbell, Ky. “You are all full of s—. Everybody who raised your hands.”

“Here’s how I know that every single one of you who raised your hand is lying to me. How many times do you roast an 18-pound turkey just randomly? Just you know, a nice summer afternoon, we’re going to go get an 18-pound turkey.”

So, he asked “Who really likes turkey?” and called everyone who raised their hands “full of shit”. He said “every single one of you who raised your hand is lying to me.”

He appears to actually believe that because he doesn’t like turkey, then no one else likes turkey either and if they say they do, they’re lying. How fucked up is that? He also seems to believe that you would have to cook an entire turkey if you want to eat any turkey. It’s bizarre and out of touch with how normal people live.
