Hmmm. The Dutch military needs to offer a bounty pay bonus on any drone being flown over a base. Turn it into a target sport for their best marksmen.

If the pay is less than the cost of a drone, then the incentive either is null, or you become a specialist in low cost drones. Win win
what goes up must come down, you do that and there’s potential to hit surrounding occupied areas.

I meant the bounty. Militaries have, or are supposed to have, the ability to check that they won’t hit anything if they miss. Randoms shooting down drones for a bounty aren’t necessarily equipped or incentivised to check.
No randoms… Military sharpshooters. Their best marksmen. Not Joe Public.

I‘ve heard they‘ve been starting to train eagles in Germany to take down small drones. Their claws go through the plastic rotors like a hot knife through butter.
