What’s the saying, if you’re kidnapped the odds of survival drop dramatically after 48h or something.

I don’t see how that’s pertinent. I was more thinking about for bystanders and intervention.
If you’re a bystander or intervene, they’ll have no qualms arresting you and seeing if they can deport you, and while they do that, they’ll withhold live saving medicine, food, and might even hog tie you up apparently, and if they’ve had you for 48h or more, I’d say your odds are having been murdered by them like this are much higher. If your skin is even remotely not white, you might even be trafficked across state lines before anyone knows you’ve been kidnapped.
I think if you intervene like you should, you won’t be arrested.
