    It’s whatever performative trend raises share value with the wider political & cultural circumstances. Defying the 1st Trump administration & their anti-woke chaos was appealing to the public yearning for stability, & it was low-risk, because that administration didn’t sue & shakedown corporations for payouts. The trend aligned with the Biden administration’s ideology, which embraced such policies in the public sector, too.

    The 2nd Trump administration poses a higher risk with its stronger, populist support, congressional backing, lawlessness, and willingness to sue for obscene settlements. Defying the administration’s ideology more credibly threatens share value, so the performative trend declines.
