How can you do that to your loving pet? The pet doesn’t deserve to be out there alongside you, in the cold, struggling and suffering over some of the poor decisions you’ve made in your life. They didn’t ask for this and they don’t deserve this. Give them up to adoption.

Your suggestion to “give them up for adoption” is a tad ignorant. Over half of dogs surrendered are euthanized.
