I think what I “love” most about this entire saga:

Every time people bring up “The epstein list” I just think: Why the hell would he keep a list of every single customer and who they raped and when? It is going to involve needing to look at the evidence and draw connections.

And then we get shit like this where it is in 100% plain text. So… there probably actually is a single PDF file that lists every single rapist and who they raped and when and the SSN/passport number of each person involved and even what the weather was on each occasion.

Boxes of CDs and hard drives were discovered in several rooms in Epstein’s eight-storey Upper East Side apartment in Manhattan, including in a so-called massage room. Some, Agent McGuire testified, had “evidence tape” sealing them. She told the court the tape had not been put there by police. On the fifth floor, FBI agents also found a shelf full of large black binders. The binders held CDs, carefully categorised in plastic slipcovers and thumbnails with photos on them. Alongside photos were compact discs with handwritten labels including: “‘Young {Name} + {Name}’”

He was a blackmailer and the key to blackmail is meticulous records and evidence to use against people. Question is where is it? Do the government have it? Has it been destroyed?

Seems to be a fair amount of evidence the US government does have and is being drip fed out.

We should all be considering just how successful his operation was, as well. It’s not like Epstein was a small figure head. Epstein effectively trafficked girls and networked them to high ranking public officials for decades. That ought be concerning for us all, knowing that our society was so vulnerable. Epstein built his pedophile pedestal in a way that reinforced the system’s security as it grew. It was so effective, in fact, that even in death his secrets remain mostly secret. That’s a failure on our part; we were vulnerable as a society and he capitalized on that vulnerability.

It was in the east wing. Or maybe it is in Ivanna’s grave

I mean, blackmail is a pretty good reason, but also to money launder effectively you need to track the actual money, idk thats the best i can come up with

You also want to be about to keep track of the victims in case you need to put a hit on them or threaten them into silence.

Probably simpler, you just want to keep track of what your customers prefer. That’s just good customer service.
