Hello all!

With winter at our doorstep my winter shoes decided to break apart.

I am looking for something durable for the winter, hopefully not prohibitively expensive.

I live in a country where it snows :)

Any recommendations?

Just to name some good brands: Meindl, Haix, Lowa, Hanwag.

I use my Meindl Stowe GTX hiking boots as winter boots, too.

Haix Scout cheaply bought as German army surplus are good for lighter weather and are often still good enough for cold (but not wet) weather.
