I ended up on .zip, the switch was mostly painless, just a couple small tech issues and having to get rid of a default block. I didn’t have any communities I managed, so not really applicable. I did consider Piefed, but I’m satisfied with Lemmy and Jerboa, and many accounts I see from piefed are superusers I don’t vibe with so it hasn’t drawn me. I would say the switch was pretty seemless and I didn’t grow super attached to lemm.ee because it wasn’t my first instance to shut down.
