This meme was me growing up.
Now, my son:

The 2nd one is a Camarasaurus tooth we found as a volunteer on a digPls post on [email protected] :)))
Where do I find information about volunteering for this kind of thing?
Call/visit any local dinosaur/geology museum or university and ask. It’s not a satisfying answer, but works.
It’s a start a least, thanks!
The dig we did was with https://gofruita.com/dinosaur-journey/ museum, and the local University (Colorado Mesa). We paid a small fee, which included transportation to the site, tools, lunch, water, and access to 3 full-time paleontologists who were each working on site (each working on a large bone). They taught you the process, answered way too many questions, and were delightful (they love people who appreciate their work). As soon as we found the tooth, they all stopped to document/sketch the find. Our names will be attached to the find.
Did you know, that the melting temperature of dry granite at ambient pressure is 1250 to 1260 Celsius; however, that temperature is significantly reduced in the presence of water, putting it down to 650 degrees Celsius at just a few kilobars of pressure!
…
Are you saying the cretaceous was an inside job?
As a geologist from Illinois, I wish we had some Igneous granite. In my field camp we cored 500 feet of glacial loess.
They should create a region of the nether in Minecraft where it’s like an old graveyard for pigmen and the ground there should be made out of pigneous rock.
I love Marcus.
