I can see now I didn’t express myself too clearly. I didn’t mean that “a lot of americans are waking up”, but that of those (perhaps few) waking up, a lot those are still bearing the effects of propaganda.

That’s super hard to tell since I only ever interact with ones that either visit europe or post in echo-chambers like lemmy.
Probably fewer than it seems from the outside percentage-wise, though that’s bound to still be quite a few people. The US is a huge country.

It often seems like a lot of Americans who were always told their country is the best are waking up to the fact that it was mostly lies but still have that “USA best” thing buried down in their subconsciousness from all the propaganda so they start to think the exact opposite is true. That the USA is the best in being the worst, so to speak.
Also explains tankies. “We were told USSR were the bad guys, we were lied to, therefore USSR must have been a paradise.”
More to the point, who thought middle managers were conscious?

Depends if you’re science-invisible (in which case you might be blind) or magic-invisible. Bilbo was still casting a shadow with the One Ring on, so he could sit in the sun while invisible, if he wasn’t engulfed in a fucked-up shadow world while doing it. That probably messes things up a bit.
Just looked it up - CCW stands for “concealed carry weapon”, so this was a gun class.

It’s the exact opposite of what’s in the constitution, so prostitution, I think?
I mean, it’s not like we’re the worst. Stromatolites completely fucked up the atmosphere and it’s still full of poison billions of years later.
