The turn of the century is back as Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz are in talks to return to the world of The Mummy. The duo will reprise their roles as Rick and Evelyn O'Connell, the adventurer couple who debuted in 1999's The Mummy and recurred through sequels until 2008.
The last one, with Maria Bello, had a different tone to it. I hope, when they go back to the old cast, they can recapture a similar feel.
The last one had no soul without Weisz. Only the first 2 count for me, so no trilogy lol
