It turned out to be quite a nice day today and I got a bit of gardening done. I put some weed & feed on the grass, mostly hoping to get rid of the bindiis, and a couple of other rampant weeds that have gotten a bit overexcited about spring. I planted out some shallots & potato onions (which are a lot like shallots) and sorted out my seed planting plans for tomorrow. Which involved a fair bit of searching through boxes to find some of my gardening stuff which is still packed. I’m still missing a couple of things, but nothing too important.

I hope to get onto some assembling of plant supports tomorrow too, which will help visualise where everything will fit in the garden and help with laying everything out.

Mostly outdoors work for me too tomorrow. I’ll rust proof then paint an outdoor table for plants then it’s a big clean up of the front yard.

    HUZZAH!

Never play stupid bureaucratic chicken with an ASD tech.
    You will not win.
I may also not win, but that will be beside the point.

Having a lot of fun playing Ratchet and Clank on the PS2. I used to play the series ALL THE TIME! I reckon if I made different choices, I’d be a speedrunner for R&C, all my muscle memory is coming back from replaying it over and over in my teens.

And there’s so much in the first game that Insomniac expanded on in 2 (going commando) and especially 3 (up your arsenal). I remember why Insomniac are my favourite devs/studio.

At the Murray as a young adult with fam, and aunt was driving the boat while I was on the biscuit. She starts doing massive donuts, so the waves grew large and chaotic. Nek minit I realised my dream of going to space.

Dad snapped this picture, so it does the rounds in the family every now and again lol

lol as predicted new mcmansion builders are out there scratching their heads on how to drain the swimming pool.

I would lend them my $20 pond pump but I’m not going to because I’m cruel.

I have discovered an op shop with sensible prices! And acquired a formal tail-coat for Boyo. If I redo the lapels in something outlandish I might even induce him to wear it

My bus this morning has a loud talking druggie couple up the back and I had to move because they smell like poop. I’m listening to Alter Bridge and I can hear them above it 🤦🏼‍♀️

homeless people? drugs? can’t afford to wash clothes?

Something is seriously wrong because hygiene is a core human trait,

I heard Covid can change your sense of smell? That said after the pandemic a lot of social norms were allowed to slide

        oh we are past THAT.

It was THEIR staff who marked off the logistics at THEIR warehouse ready for pickup and then arranged THEIR installer to contact me.

so this is all them. It’s not “oh I jumped me gun they don’t have it” they fucking created this whole shitfest

I have successfully braved the local post office to pick up my toaster and return some long-overdue library books. I can now authoritatively say that it is an awful, badly designed carpark I would be very happy never to return to.

I also went to Bunnings, which was fairly hard to actually get to despite being just over the road. Actually getting there involved a large loop and a ridiculously long light cycle at traffic lights. Then when I was checking out the eftpos machine wasn’t working and after three attempts I had to move to another register to pay. I will be happy to be able to stay home for a while now - I have nearly two weeks off and have plans to not go anywhere.

I managed to spend almost $150 on various shit. A mix of cow and chicken, plus some liquified fish for good measure. When Mr Woof gets a sniff of it all he’s going to be very impressed.

On the way home I could see they have surveyors out in the paddocks over the road which are slated for a new estate. The cows were very interested, and one of the surveyors was having to survey in the middle of a herd of bovine helpers.
