The California governor isn’t afraid to say the quiet part out loud.

Writing a news story about some guy tweeting about the President’s health rather than simply writing about the President’s health is absolutely bonkers.

IDGAF about Newsom’s opinion. Do some journalism.

Gotta push a borderline centrist who’s popular just so that actual left thinkers don’t get publicity.

Holy shit I can’t wait for legacy media to die in a fiery death.

Liability, they don’t want to be sued. Now they can just go “Newsom said that not us!”

Bullshit. The truth is an absolute defense against libel.

Don’t tell me the excuse the paper uses, as if I don’t know or do care. They aren’t doing their jobs, and their abdication of real journalism is why the country is being torn apart.

No bullshit, someone else paying and taking the blame is always going to be cheaper then having to go to court and do anything or pay anyone.

Well duh, though it isn’t abdication it’s media consolidation and weaking fair media regulations. Journalists that fought find themselves out on their asses running blogs and side hustling Uber or whatever.
