I think it has a lot to do with being removed from ACTUAL violence. If those commenters were sitting at a speech and the guy just 20 feet in front of them had his neck blasted open with a bullet, assassinated and dying in front of them, they would have the same reaction as all the people in the video. Utter shock, followed by complete panic as they ran in fear as fast as they could. And likely weeks of sleepless nights replaying that in their head.
But instead, they’d rather spew hateful words about another human being killed like it was a good thing because they didnt like his words. I agree, thats messed up.
