      I watched the movie a couple nights ago for the first time. It was pretty darned good, though the interpersonal scenes with his girlfriend seemed a little forced, and may have been a fabrication of the director to add artificial drama. Or at least, that’s the vibe I get from what he mentions that occuring in this trailer for a biography on him.

      I’m old enough to remember when Serpico posters were ubiquitous. They were the height of cool for a hot half minute. Then they became what latecomers thought were an indication of coolness. (You can even see them occasionally in other movies of the same period, as a background prop set designers used to make a statement about the personality of a character.)

      Then they were largely replaced with Farrah posters, lol. Priorities.
