I tried a few on Fdroid and they didn’t work.
I tried a lot of them. SongSync was the only app that gave me decent results. It can download synced lyrics like you want, but it depends on the lyrics provider. Spotify doesn’t work, Apple does but kinda broken. Stick to the other options.
What exactly are you looking for? If you’re looking dor a music player with integrated lyrics being shown line-by-line, try OuterTune one github.
Rush works great for me
I saw this post yesterday, but haven’t checked it out:

I have lrcget run on my library to grab missing lyrics each night and use Symfonium for listening and displaying the lyrics. If I need to, I go out to Genius.
What’s wrong with the endless supply of websites? What does an app give you?
Sites don’t show the precise line that’s being sung. I lose track especially if it’s a foreign language.
Ah, I hadn’t thought of it being kareoke style.
Not just a lyrics app but does have karaoke lyrics https://apt.izzysoft.de/packages/com.dd3boh.outertune
oh yeah this is a fantastic language learning tool
(although it can bring up problems with tonal languages like Vietnamese, Thai, Mandarin, Cantonese, etc where the lyrics often abandon the words’ inherent tones and follow the song melody instead. )
