Ya’ll only laughing because you’re imagining it’s bad movies and things you don’t already like.

The real problem is it’s the things you DO like and want. This is where the teeth gnashing starts and unity breaks down.

Revolution and general strikes sound great until you tell someone that this also includes their phone, their social media site, their new game system, their nice shoes and their chicken tenders.

One of my coworkers acknowledged that football has gotten really samey the past few years due to all the coaches playing tok safe ans not taking risks.

Hopefully others are noticing the same thing and can wake up soon

Are we talking about American Football, because if so I’d have to argue against that position. If anything the trend seems to be towards more risk taking with going for it on 4th down more instead of punting or kicking field goals, going for 2 point conversions more often, lots more kick returns with the new kick off rules, mobile QBs running all over the place instead of throwing it away or checking it down.

If it’s the other Football, I know nothing about that.

But this time it’ll be Trump-FCC friendly, those problematic Polynesian families will be replaced with a nice white family from Nebraska.

They do work though. The bread and circus game of the US is strong and does prove to be ample distraction from the current fascist takeover.

the effects were nice, the sets memorable, the costuming was good

too bad it was a boring slog that kinda soured any desire I had to go back and see the first one again

I got a little worried there and looked it up, but it looks like Warner Bros didn’t even want to do the sequel and if there is a third movie in the works then everyone clearly forgot to tell Tim Burton about it.
