Americans are completely getting ridden into the ground by this orange clown.

What a joke of a country it’s become … a joke with nuclear weapons and cheese burgers. Historians will definitely write off this chapter of history as to how ‘not to run a country’ as well as ‘how a citizenry can be so stupid and complacent’.

If only their constitution had specific clauses that allowed them to take up arms against despots trying to upend democracy…

Yeah, it doesn’t though. The second amendment says nothing like that. It says militias can have weapons to defend the state from enemies. It does not say citizens can fight tyrants controlling the state, despite what a lot of media would lead you to believe.

It’s really short. Read it, and read it critically. Don’t try to read what you’ve already been told.

Some of our founders wrote and spoke about fighting tyrants, but there’s not like a constitutional protection for it or anything like that.

I also suspect the meaning of a regulated militia never was meant to be just a citizen…

But wishful reading/thinking changes a lot, there are other documents that suffer from it.

Yeah, absolutely. It specifically says “a well regulated militia.” It meant militias could keep armories of weapons for their members to use. It didn’t mean every random person would have one at their house. If they meant citizens being armed they would have written that.

“In 1902, they were going to put a statue of Robert E. Lee up. Would have been okay with me,” Trump said. “A lot of people wouldn’t have liked it, would have been okay with me. It would have been okay with a lot of the people in this room, but they didn’t do that.”

Go fuck yourself with a soldering iron.

Man the libs are getting so owned rn omg /s

I wonder how far americans who vote for theses kinds of candidates can go with this. How poor or sick or dead do you have to be to start realizing the consequences of your own actions?

    It’s fascinating really.

If you guys ever get your country back, one of the first things you should do is demolish anything built under this clown.

It won’t get built, theyll spend tons of discretionary funding on planning and reviews to enrich their friends then say it’s too expensive once they actually have to choose shit.

Big beautiful buildings unfortunately work phenomenally to leave your mark in history. I doubt anyone will tear down anything this administration built any time soon. They‘re more likely to become landmarks while everyone tries to forget who built them.

Wait, you think that monstrous carbuncle is beautiful? Trump’s architectural esthetic is even less refined than his dress sense.

Yup. Look at the Palace of the People in Romania. Buildings are expensive to demolish properly, expensive to put up, so it’s easier to just leave them up if they are or can be made to fit a purpose.

As for what would be at the top of the arch, Trump said it would be a gilded “Lady Liberty.”

“That’s Lady Liberty. Did you ever hear of Lady Liberty?” Trump said.

    🤦

You know for a fact that the Trump Lady Liberty will look a lot sexier than the old one. She’ll look like a possibly trafficked Eastern European “fashion model” and leave little to the imagination. Which will trigger some liberals and radical leftists, but Trump’s fine with that.

No, I haven’t heard of Lady Liberty. Is there perhaps a poem illustrating the message behind it that I could read, Mr Trump?

On an unrelated note, congratulations on all the deportations!

So, when do his handlers pull the plug on letting him speak in public? They know how bad off he is and have got to be shitting bricks.

Dementia patients can go for years. I cannot imagine the plans behind the scenes. They know once he’s gone the whole cult collapses. Every shit thing he’s done will be blamed on Vance. Then what?
