I wonder what it’s like being an employee that isn’t getting paid… would you be tempted to ‘hack’ a public address system, perhaps by taping down a button and putting a tape cassette next to it?
Ah, must be a weird intersection. I remember there was a lot of complaining in my region because two nearby airports were fighting over which one got to be international or something, which I thought was because there was a limited supply of federal employees / money for doing the customs stuff, and there was a row about downgrading one because the other was now taking some of that pot. I always figured the feds had their guys on the ground and integrated.

Most airports are owned by the city or state they reside, federal employees don’t have access to these systems generally.
