do we really need more soldiers? air supremacy and sea power locks a land-based army to the land - and then they’re forced to use zerg attacks to do anything.
Guerilla warfare is more effective than suicide charges when on the losing end of asymmetrical warfare.
eh… guerilla war only comes into play when the attacker is trying to hold territory. with air supremacy you dont really need to do that & while it sucks when a drone gets shot down, it’s not a big deal because the pilot is nowhere nearby. sea power is similar, though the sailors are somewhat closer to the war zone.
I knew Lujan was gonna be involved in this story. If you really go through her social media presence, it’s actually scary how effective her techniques are, going so far as to even embrace the people calling her out a psyop as a meme of her own. It’s insane. She’s not even a soldier like she claims in her videos; her own LinkedIn used to have her listed as being a part of the Army’s social media department. Although now it appears that she’s edited it (as part of the meme) to say “Psychological Operations Specialist”. Interestingly, the previous caches of her LinkedIn on the Wayback Machine are missing now, so it looks like the Army’s trying to clean up her online presence a bit, too.
Enlistment numbers have been down year over year since 9/11, but it’d be interesting to see what sort of impact (if any) she’s actually had on recruitment.
