Linkin Park - Breaking the Habit is playing
Oh this one hurt me right into the receding hairline
The song 1985 by Bowling For Soup was released in 2004 which was 19 years after 1985, and is now 21 years ago
I told this to a friend recently and blew his mind.
I managed to catch a show for the anniversary tour for that album, and realized that as it played. It hurt a bit, hah.
My favourite is ‘Back to the Future Part II’ which was released in 1989 and brings Marty forward to 2015
It’s been ten years since 2015 … AND WE STILL DON’T HAVE FLYING CARS!!!
Marty and Doc fucked up the timeline and it resulted in the reality we live now
Clearly we’re in the ‘Biff Tannen becomes president’ timeline.
Honestly, I hope we never get flying cars. 2 dimensions is already too much for most people
lol … give them one dimension and there would still be people who would figure out how to kill one another either accidentally or intentionally
Trains?
This really fucks me up. Talking about It’s Always Sunny right now Is the same as talking about Seinfeld back when IASIP started
I remember the second season coming out. And then suddenly they somehow had 74 seasons a month later.
The Phantom Menace is older now than A New Hope was when it came out.
It’s worse, 2000s songs are now what 1975s songs were. We’re past the 80s nostalgia and straight into Disco.
Can we panic there?
Yes
The Wizard of Oz was released 10 years closer to the first American Civil War than today.
First?
gestures to the whole of the US Welcome to the 2nd!
All my troubles seemed so far away.
And 80s songs still rule.
Can’t beat that shit for dancing!
Damn you OP! I’m not ready for my grade school songs to be retro.
FLCL came out 25 years ago.
YOUR FAVORITE HITS OF THE 80’S, 90’S, 00’S, 10’S, AND TODAY!
I fucking love this movie. Stellar performances across the board, visually pleasing, and vicariously satisfying conclusion.
Absolute cinema
✋😻🤚
Is this the super extra fancy dinner movie?
It was really fun.Yeah. The Menu
