The song 1985 by Bowling For Soup was released in 2004 which was 19 years after 1985, and is now 21 years ago
I told this to a friend recently and blew his mind.
I managed to catch a show for the anniversary tour for that album, and realized that as it played. It hurt a bit, hah.
My favourite is ‘Back to the Future Part II’ which was released in 1989 and brings Marty forward to 2015

The Phantom Menace is older now than A New Hope was when it came out.
It’s worse, 2000s songs are now what 1975s songs were. We’re past the 80s nostalgia and straight into Disco.
